Maud Grasmuck aka Manjushree Pradhan hails from France. She began her dancing foray as a ballet dancer at 4 yrs. An ardent disciple of Birju Maharaj, she leant Kathak dance for 15 years and also Bharatnatyam for 2 years and a traditional and rare Nepalese dance. She was in New Delhi recently to perform as the protagonist in Kalidasa’s play Shakuntala.
